Olga Myatieva, the founder of Allegretto Studios, was born in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan into a family of musicians and began her journey in music at a young age.

She studied at a special school for gifted artists focusing on her violin performance major and 

by the age of 14, she won the prestigious N. Khalmamedov International Music Competition. Subsequently, she was accepted into and studied under renowned violinist N. Amyanc, a graduate of the Saint Petersburg Conservatory. She  later continued her higher education in violin performance at the Ashgabat Conservatory with the same mentor.

Olga began performing on major stages as early as 10 years old, including the Kremlin in
Moscow, and was a member of a prominent violin ensemble in the USSR. After graduating from the conservatory, she performed as a concertmaster in the Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan and as a violinist in the National Ballet and Opera Theater.

Alongside her performance career, she served as a full time faculty member at the conservatory and taught violin and chamber music at the collegiate level, preparing her students for competitions and beyond.
In 2006, Olga immigrated to Arlington with her daughter and continued to pursue her passion for education and performance in the Boston area.

Based in Arlington, MA, Allegretto Studios has been responsible for setting up an excellent foundation for the littlest beginners and adults alike, facilitating and encouraging studio members to find their own individualized voice, garner immeasurable life skills, and win acceptances in prestigious conservatories such as New England Conservatory, Boston University, and McGill.
